As the world is turning into a global village, our future doctors face a gigantic task of mastering Community Oriented Health Sciences on one hand and developing skills and competence required at international level on other. Medical Education is changing very rapidly and "Modernizing Medical Education" by NHS in UK is a glaring example. A thorough understanding of modern aspects of Medical Education is most vital for our students and doctors. At the same time full comprehension of concepts like Medical Ethics, Evidence Based Medicine and Better Communication Skills should be provided to our students. I intend to make full use of my experience of being a Fellow of two Royal Colleges and more recently, an examiner of all four Royal Colleges of Surgeons of UK, for the benefit of our students. A close liaison is also being developed with some UK institutes that will further help our future doctors.
